Sometimes, as parents, we reach the end of our rope; or at least it feels that way. We try to find things, creative things even, that will help our children learn from their mistakes, grow, change, etc. But sometimes those things don’t work. Sometimes no matter what we try, our children seem destined to make bad choices. And as much as that hurts us and causes us to be frustrated, exasperated, and tired, sometimes we have to let them. Sometimes we just have to let the consequences fall where they may or they will never change.
If you are a parent of a child who is hard to discipline, don’t be discouraged, you are going to make it through and so will they. I’m right there with you!

I was one of those kids, although believe it or not, my brother was worse! I’m praying for Stephen and you, may he find early wisdom.
Thank you, Floyd! He’s done better over the last 2 days so I’m hoping we are on an upward swing, but time will tell.
